Even Polaroid, if possible. For one thing, experimentation never hurts, and secondly, many of the most talked about spirit photographs of all time were taken with traditional film.
Cynics would say that the Polaroid is an ideal camera to hoax photographs because the failures won't be on the same strip of film as the successes -- you just throw them in the garbage. Menger only had a handful of photos from all his many incredible experiences so that's a little suspicious, but a little proof is still proof!
It might even be an extension of your own aura but for something like that to show up on regular polaroid you would have to have one really potent aura. At any rate I think it is a natural phenomena and most likely benign. Actually, that is an artificially coloured image of an electromagnetic field created by anything alive.

My grandfather used to take a Polaroid picture of the table set for Christmas dinner, often while listening to Sinatra. One time there was a large white mist floating above the table in the picture when it developed. I used to wake up early in the morning and eat various leftovers, while I would watch Saturday morning cartoons.
