"I booked direct (10% discount) & did these 2 tours with Chris (a local of Rabat). Chris was BRILLIANT! I love history and Malta is THE place for WWII history given it was the most bombed city in Europe (more than London during the Blitz!) Chris provided our small group with sooo much information and inside knowledge for both of these tours. Lovely surprise during Valletta tour (which I won't spoil). During our Mdina and Rabat tour he was stopped quite often (without disrupting our tour at all!) by locals who knew him, including some "learner" guides who said we "had the best"! Ringing endorsement. Chris gave suggestions where to eat in Valletta and Rabat. Both were fantastic tours - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

"We had one week to celebrate a milestone anniversary and wanted to do something special. Since we had previously enjoyed several Secret Travels (a.k.a. Secret Italia) small group tours, we asked them to put together a private tour of Barcelona, Spain for us. Aldo and his staff proposed a comprehensive custom itinerary that included many attractions in and around Barcelona. What was presented fulfilled our requirements which included some pre-arranged meals (all breakfasts, one lunch and two dinners). Secret Travels sent us a detailed itinerary and made all of the tour arrangements (except flights). When we arrived, a very friendly driver greeted us at the airport and gave us some insights about the city while he drove us to our hotel. That afternoon we met our personal tour guide, Olga, who was very personable and an excellent guide. Her knowledge of the area gave us a great overview of Barcelona and its history. The overall itinerary was well thought out which allowed us to really appreciate the region. For the time we had allotted, it included many things to see and do. All of the excursions were worth visiting and held our interest. A reasonable amount of free time was built in to the itinerary so we didn’t feel rushed and were able to explore, on our own, a few other sites that interested us. Secret Travels checked in with us multiple times during our trip to make sure all was going well. Everything did go extremely well, met our needs, and exceeded our expectations.
