Forgot to put this on my last review. Mosquitoes are around but not as bad as wasps which can plague you in Kefalonia until around 8pm. Top tip is always ask any bar/restaurant for some burning coffee which the locals use to keep wasps away this does work really well and is often the only way you can drink/eat out in the day.

The Kefalonian Bus company has a schedule on their website. I'm not allowed to post their link. There are only 2 buses on the weekend and only a mini-van so be quick to board when it arrives. And make sure you are there early. The return bus didn't wait and drove off before the published departure time.

It’s a long way from Sami to Antisimos if you are walking. Get a cab. It’s not that expensive.
HI, we are on a cruise ship docking in Argostoli. What would be the easiest way to get to Antisamos Beach from there? Any other, as nice beaches, closer? We do not want to go to Myrtos Beach. Thanks.

It's about an hour from Argostoli less, it is very doable and around €50-60.00 in a taxi.
