The penguin parade is an evening activity as they don’t come ashore until dusk, around 830pm. The koala place is ok but if you want real interaction with some of Australia’s animals visit the Phillip Island wildlife park. It’s only 19 AUD per adult which includes a bag of food for the residents. You can see koalas, snakes, wombats, owls, dingos, cassowary and many more. The wallabies hop freely around the park and will feed from your hand. There’s also a huge paddock containing emus and kangaroos which you can wander around at your leisurely whilst feeding the animals. Fantastic, definitely worth a visit.

Hello guys, I am a bit confused about the answers I see here. I'm flying to Australia next week and not exactly sure about the time I will visit the Philip Island, but on their website it seems like the tickets are limited and should be booked in advance. Do I really need to do this? Or can I just drive to the island and walk around and if needed buy ticket on the spot? Thanks!
