We like to visit Point Dume at sunset to catch the Green Flash. Doesn’t always happen, but it’s a treat when it does. Great viewing beach, nice a big stretch.Full review by Jeremy F

This beach is nice but cannot be compared with El Matador Beach. We saw a rock climbing and a photo session there. The parking was $15.Full review by 649001
Our favorite Lifeguard, Dick Heinrich, is working at Point Dume this summer and how difficult will it be to get from parking lot to beach for a person with disability?

The carpark and the beach are side by side. There are spacious toilets in the carpark by the beach

There is minimal parking on the northern side, go to the access on the beach. That is a little better. The hike to the top takes maybe 20 min.
Yes there a good place to park to walk down to the Dume Beach, to the each of Pirates Cove? There's a few spots on Cliffside, but they usually are taken. Anyone aware of any alternatives? Thank you.

I was speaking with him in a very polite manner when he abruptly interrupted me and said if I didn’t move now he would write me a ticket. Not obstructing traffic, being polite and he’s going to write a local tax paying citizen not breaking any posted or codified laws A TICKET! Malibu is NOT WORTH A VISIT!! GO TO VENTURA BEACHES TO THE NORTH INSTEAD OR PALOS VERDE TO THE SOUTH...MUCH COOLER AND MORE WELCOMING!! KARMA IS WHY THIS PLACE BURNS AND SLIDES EVERY YEAR...AND TAX PAYERS HAVE TO FOOT THE BILL!!!
