At Silver Springs there is an area that is specific for launching kayaks and canoes. It's very busy because of the rental business, but we launched from there with no problems and return there after we were done. It allows you to put you boat in the water and then hop in. Right next to the parking lot are plenty of grassy areas to inflate your kayak and get it ready to be launched.
Trying to plan a trip for my 3 and 7 year old to go on the boat ride. Can't decide on the short or long ride. Is there enough to keep a 3 year old interested for the long trip?
