The pilot of the private jet that crashed early Thursday morning in Tierrasanta, killing all six people on board and injuring eight people on the ground, did not declare an emergency or call in any type of mechanical issue with the plane before it clipped a power line and slammed into a residential street, federal authorities said Friday.

Dominic Damian was identified by his fellow athletes at The Training Center in Pacific Beach as one of the victims of the deadly Murphy Canyon plane crash.

Daniel Williams, the former drummer for The Devil Wears Prada, was among the victims of a fatal plane crash in San Diego. The band paid tribute to the musician, writing, 'We owe you everything.'
