The teams come from the Los Angeles County, Riverside City, and Orange County Fire Departments, as well as Menlo Park in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Several canine teams from Southern California are deploying to Texas to help with search and rescue efforts following the devastating flash floods that have left at least 100 people dead and another 160 missing.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced on Tuesday the deployment of 18 more urban search-and-rescue team members to Texas to help with recovery from the devastating Independence Day flooding. The members are in addition to the nine members deployed Monday from the cities of Riverside and Oakland,

Yolo County officials confirmed that all seven of the missing workers' remains have been found on the scene after a July 1 explosion at a fireworks warehouse in Esparto.The coroner's office is still working to identify the remains.
