Haribo's Happy Cola sweets were recalled in the Netherlands on 29 May 2025 after people fell ill due to cannabis being detected in the sweets.

The Dutch food authority said cannabis had been detected in samples of the candy, and the police said it had made several people ill.

Haribo is recalling packets of sweets in the Netherlands after some were found to contain traces of cannabis. Several people, including multiple members of one family, reported feeling unwell after eating from a 1kg pack of Haribo Happy Cola F!
