Two people are on the run after ramming a vehicle into U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers during an operation near Colorado Springs on Thursday, federal officials said.

The search was started in the Black Forest area, where ICE said the immigrants Thursday morning tried to run over officers from the agency's Denver office with a vehicle during an ICE operation at a construction site.

Officers from multiple agencies responded after two people in a vehicle tried to hit ICE officers, the agency said.
