Though Bristol had no contact or flared tempers as in their past skirmishes at Kansas and Pocono, Larson and Hamlin seem on a collision course for the 2025 championship heading into NASCAR’s only off weekend of the season.

In his weekly Actions Detrimental podcast, Denny Hamlin fired back at the No. 5 car driver’s post-race comments. He admitted he was rooting for Larson to begin with but had a change of heart after hearing his competitor throw shade.

With the two being the best of friends and the worst of enemies, Kyle Larson couldn’t help but take a jab at Denny Hamlin today. Larson led 411 laps and ended Hamlin’s chance at a NASCAR three-peat.
