Guardians closer Emmanuel Clase entered a plea of not guilty to the charges filed by federal prosecutors related to a sports gambling scheme that also involves teammate and starting pitcher Luis Ortiz. Clase flew into New York Nov. 13 and entered his not guilty plea the same day. He had been out of the country.
