Japan's second-biggest carmaker, Honda, has successfully tested an experimental reusable rocket, the company says, as it seeks to expand into the space sector.

The Japanese automaker Honda just hit a key milestone in rocket reusability with a near-bullseye landing during a vertical test flight in Hokkaido.

Honda says its first reusable rocket launch was successful as the Japan's second-biggest automaker marked a key milestone to create its space wing by 2029.
