The Boston Red Sox and All-Star outfielder Jarren Duran have avoided salary arbitration, agreeing to a one-year contract for the 2025 season.

The Red Sox will not go to arbitration with any of their players this year after agreeing to terms with lefty Garrett Crochet ($3.8 million) and righties Tanner Houck ($3.95 million) and Kutter Crawford ($2.75 million). They haven’t gone to a hearing since beating Eduardo Rodriguez in one in 2020.

Star outfielder Jarren Duran and the Boston Red Sox avoided arbitration when they agreed Friday to a one-year contract guaranteeing $3.85 million, a deal that includes an $8 million team option for 2026.
