Ryan Ramczyk has called it a career. The New Orleans Saints long-time right tackle announced his retirement Thursday after eight years in the NFL. He missed all of last season because of a chronic knee injury, but at his peak, he was one of the most dominant offensive linemen in the league.

Ramczyk missed the entire 2024 season after undergoing offseason knee surgery. He told reporters in December 2023 that the deterioration of cartilage in his knee had impacted the final three seasons of his NFL career.

Ryan Ramczyk is an almost sure future inductee into the Saints Hall of Fame. After Pro Football Hall of Famer Willie Roaf, Ramczyk is in the conversation with Jahri Evans and Terron Armstead as the second greatest offensive lineman in franchise history.
