Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, who missed the last two games with a concussion, was to return to practice Wednesday ahead of a playoff game against the Green Bay Packers, coach Nick Sirianni announced.

The NFL’s 2024 regular season is over, and the Philadelphia Eagles will face Green Bay in the NFC playoffs Wild Card round following the Packers’ 24-22 loss to the Bears and the Cowboys’ 23-19 win over the Commanders.

Perhaps the Eagles signaled Hurts' return to practice Tuesday by waiving quarterback Ian Book, who was originally signed to the practice squad after Hurts' concussion, then added to the 53-man roster to serve as the third QB the past two games.
