Some people watch the Super Bowl for the football, some for the commercials and some for the star-studded musical halftime show, which has come a long way since its wholesome Up With People days. It always features a superstar performer now,

Kendrick Lamar said watching SZA grow in her career has been "amazing to see" ahead of their performance together at the Super Bowl halftime show at Caesar Superdome on Sunday, Feb. 9.

In 2022, Lamar was a supporting performer during the Super Bowl 56 halftime show. The “legends of hip hop” lineup also featured Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak. However, three years later, Lamar will headline the show with SZA.
