Georgia controlled all three phases of the game -- including a surprise onside kick that helped break the game open -- in a complete win over the Longhorns

Georgia didn’t just beat Texas on Saturday night. The Bulldogs sent a clear message that the Longhorns aren’t ready for the sport’s biggest stage.

Stockton hit Noah Thomas with two first-half TD passes and added one each to London Humphreys and Lawson Luckie in the fourth quarter and then finished off the scoring with a TD run. Stockton ended the game with 229 yards passing.

The Texas Longhorns were the victim of a few questionable calls against Vanderbilt but still managed to come away with the win.

The Longhorns also have an advantage, though. According to this week’s initial injury report, Texas is currently the only team in the SEC with a completely healthy roster. Despite getting banged up against Vanderbilt, the Longhorns took full advantage of the bye week, allowing key players to recover in a crucial time of the season.
