The White House confirmed that Trump and Zelenskyy discussed whether Ukraine would be able to strike Moscow and St. Petersburg with U.S.-supplied weapons.
KYIV, Ukraine—President Trump counseled Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, to take the war to Russia and asked whether Kyiv was able to hit Moscow and St. Petersburg, according to a senior Ukrainian official familiar with the exchange.
Russia's Defense Ministry, meanwhile, said its forces downed at least 66 Ukrainian drones overnight into Tuesday morning. Among the areas targeted was the southwestern Voronezh region which borders northeastern Ukraine. At least 16 people were injured there, Gov. Aleksandr Gusev said on Telegram.
