A new report indicates that a former WWE Champion and Hall of Famer is scheduled for the Worlds Collide event between WWE, NXT, and AAA on Saturday afternoon ahead of WWE Money in the Bank.

AAA and WWE come together with NXT to present Worlds Collide, pitting some of Mexico's finest luchadores against your favorite superstars.

Laredo Kid, Je'Von Evans and Ethan Page appeared to promote the North American Championship match, but Rey Fenix was absent. Evolve's Sean Legacy showed up because he will face the winner of the NA title bout at Worlds Collide. More Evolve talents showed up and a huge brawl broke out.

WWE and AAA presents Worlds Collide tomorrow (Saturday, June 7). The unique crossover event will start at 8pm for fans in the UK. Like the recent Saturday Night’s Main Event specials, fans in the UK can watch Worlds Collide either live or on demand for free via YouTube.

Joaquin Wilde gave WWE fans a scare recently when the LWO member was injured during a match against Lexis King on a "WWE Speed" taping. Wilde later revealed that he had suffered a concussion during the match, putting his ability to compete at this weekend's Worlds Collide event in question.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that former WCW and TNA announcer Mike Tenay was reportedly discussed for an announcing role at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide on June 7th. Meltzer notes that it is unknown if Tenay was contacted and as of now, he is not scheduled to call the show.

Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, is all set to host Worlds Collide, an event co-produced by WWE and AAA. A popular star is reportedly slated to make his return to the Stamford-based company at the historic show slated for June 7.
