Authorities say a Twin Cities man arrested after a fatal crash Monday evening had a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit.

A partially empty box of wine was found underneath the passenger seat of Zachary Scott Lee Wydella’s minivan, charges say.

A woman was killed and a man was hospitalized in an Anoka crash on Monday night. The Anoka County Sheriff's Office says the two-vehicle crash happened just after 6:30 p.m. on the 1000 block of North Street, and saw a westbound minivan collide with an eastbound sedan. The woman, who was driving the sedan, died at the scene.

As previously reported, first responders were called to a crash on Monday night on the 1000 block of North Street, according to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities say Wydella was driving a minivan west on North Street when he crashed into a sedan that was headed east.
