John Calipari and the No. 10 Arkansas Razorbacks took down Rick Pitino and the No. 2 Saint John’s Red Storm 75-66 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, advancing to the Sweet-16 for the first time since 2023.

St. John’s Kadary Richmond and Simeon Wilcher played a combined 31 minutes because of foul trouble. Richmond fouled out while Wilcher finished with four fouls. Pitino sat them for much of the first half after they picked up two fouls in the opening period.

John Calipari is heading back to the Sweet 16 after sending a second straight Hall of Famer home from the NCAA Tournament’s “Region of Coaches.”
