Lara Trump has slammed Jimmy Kimmel over his 'joke' about Melania Trump becoming a widow imminently after the president called for the TV host to be fired.

“Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country,” the first lady said in a statement.

Comedian Matt Friend, known for his satire and impressions of Donald Trump and other political figures, will headline a comedy special from Washington, D.C. that will air on CNN on the eve the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner.
