Fernandes put United ahead just before half time by curling a free-kick past David Raya, whose positioning was suspect. Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has claimed that “a bit of stupidity” could have cost the team a defeat against Manchester United on Sunday. Rice rescued a point for the Gunners at Old Trafford after Bruno Fernandes had opened the scoring with a stunning free-kick.

The Gunners fought back from a goal behind at Old Trafford, but Mikel Arteta's side still dropped further behind runaway leaders Liverpool
