For the past several years, Josh D’Amaro has been running the engine of Disney’s business, its theme parks. Now he must grapple with a changing media universe.
"We were notified by the OC Health Care Agency (HCA) on Jan. 31, 2026, that an international traveler who visited Disneyland Resort on Jan. 28, 2026 has since tested positive for the measles," Dr. Pamela Hymel, the chief medical officer for Disney Experiences, told PEOPLE in a statement on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
Shareholders will be looking for D’Amaro to generate value after the company has underperformed the broader stock market.
