Live updates and the latest news as the House approaches a final passage vote on the Trump-backed "big, beautiful bill" after a group of Republican holdouts changed their votes to advance the measure.

President Trump is scheduled to sign the bill into law at 4 p.m. on July 4 at the White House, locking in tax reductions and Medicaid cuts.

It's expected to face some issues, especially among fiscal hawks as the Senate version is projected to add roughly $1 trillion more to the deficit than what the House passed back in May.
