If there’s one thing Nintendo has always understood, it’s that everyone may want to play together, but might not all own the same game. With the Switch 2, the company is launching GameShare, enabling local multiplayer on multiple consoles with just one copy of a title.

The Switch 2 looks like it's going to have a lot of support from third-party developers to go along with Nintendo's spectacular first-party games. This means the new Switch will hit the ground running as its launch lineup already looks good, but there's going to be even more must-buy games after its launch.

At the moment, we know of around 20 new and old games that will be available on launch day. So far Nintendo has only confirmed two first-party launch titles for Switch 2: A new Mario Kart and a weird Switch 2 tutorial game that looks like something that should be included for free (but won’t be).
