A new generation of Nissan's long-running mid-sized pick-up has been revealed at an event in Thailand. The NP300 Navara will be rolled out in multiple markets from later in 2014.

Nissan Navara pickup will be discontinued in Europe due to shrinking demand as Nissan prepares to launch the new Frontier in the United States.

Nissan’s current-generation D23 Navara mid-size pickup truck, which serves duty everywhere else except the USA, is now over 10 years old – yep, it sure is no spring chicken.

First spotted by Motor1, the pickup has been dubbed the Navara-R, and sports a GT-R-sourced twin-turbocharged V-6 with displacement increased from the stock 3.8 liters to 4.1 liters.
