Cavs guard Donovan Mitchell scored a game-high 27 points to go along with six rebounds and five assists. Center Jarrett Allen chipped in with 21 points eight boards. Wings Isaac Okoro and De'Andre Hunter combined for 27 points off the bench.

The Clippers were without superstar forward Kawhi Leonard, but still they made the game competitive. But in the end, the Cavaliers prevailed, and it was largely on the back of a heroic performance from Mitchell. The most impressive part of the guard’s play was that he didn’t go on his typical scoring barrage.
