Samsung has confirmed to position the Galaxy S24 series as ‘AI Phones’. However, just 8GB RAM is not enough to efficiently run AI models locally on devices.

Disappointingly, it appears Samsung plans to offer the base Galaxy S24 Ultra with 8GB RAM in certain regions.

Two leaks have laid out the RAM and storage configs of the Galaxy S24 series alongside the colors, as well as Gorilla Glass Armor inclusion.

Leaked images reveal the color and storage options for the Galaxy S24 series, with the standard model offering 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage, while the Galaxy S24 Plus and Ultra models ...

The Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus both came with 8GB of RAM, while the S23 Ultra offered a choice of 8GB or 12GB. Needless the additional RAM could prove to be a major boost to S24 performance.

A leaker predicts that the Galaxy S24 lineup will see more RAM included in every model. If true, the extra memory should improve multitasking and app load times on Samsung's flagship phones.
