The Knicks are on the verge of their first NBA title in over 50 years, but Karl-Anthony Towns' future is already hanging over MSG.
Much to the delight of New Yorkers, the New York Knicks have a 2-0 lead over the San Antonio Spurs as the series heads to New York City, allowing the Knicks a chance to close out the series on their home court in Madison Square Garden.
Following the victory, mega-fan Timothée Chalamet shared a photo on his Instagram Stories celebrating on the court while standing next to director Spike Lee, a fellow lifelong Knicks fan. Other celebrities who are loyal to the Knicks include Anne Hathaway and 50 Cent, who are often seen sitting in celebrity row.
The play stuck with Stephon Castle through the night into the morning after Game 2 in San Antonio: Victor Wembanyama threw the basketball — and a chance to tie the NBA Finals at one game apiece — off of the second-year guard’s back, off the Frost Bank Center hardwood floors, right into Jalen Brunson’s hands.
