Residents in nine Northwest and West Central Georgia counties are under an immediate Severe Thunderstorm Watch.
The warning was issued for Cameron and Elk counties. "The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and has exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.
