Top Gear creator Andy Wilman didn't pull any punches when it came to hopes for the show's future. Andy Wilman, who co-created the modern Top Gear fans know and love, reflected on the serious crashes both Richard Hammond and Freddie Flintoff suffered during their respective tenures as presenters on the hit BBC programme.
TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson was inundated with support as he took to Instagram with an emotional video in honour of his longtime pal. The Clarkson’s Farm star appeared to fight back tears as he reflected on his success on the BBC ’s hit motoring series Top Gear.
Top Gear co-creator Andy Wilman has said that the show’s team got “giddy on their own popularity” and began “writing our own rules”. Wilman and Jeremy Clarkson met as students at public school in Derbyshire. Together the pair created Top Gear, of which Clarkson was a presenter and Wilman the executive producer between 2002 and 2015.
