Global recorded-music revenue growth slowed down dramatically in 2022 but still was up 9%, according to the IFPI's year-end report.

Vinyl made up a total of 70% of physical music sales in 2022, bringing in $1.2 billion in revenue, per the Recording Industry Association of America.
