California Highway Patrol Ventura says officers have been diverting southbound Highway 101 traffic off of Johnson Drive to investigate a three-car crash.

The crash was reported shortly before 8 a.m. during the busy morning commute and appeared to include two vehicles that had overturned.

A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on the southbound Highway 101 in Ventura the night of Sept. 25, according to the CHP.
