THREE RIVERS, MI - A spring-like storm turned violent quickly Friday afternoon, spawning at least two tornado touchdowns that damaged buildings, ripped apart part of a Menards store, and sent at least a few people to the hospital.
The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) began using a new severe weather forecasting product called Conditional Intensity Forecasts. They’ll be issued on top of the usual Categorical Outlooks.
