Jonathan Toews came into tonight playing some of his best hockey as a Jet with four assists in the seven games since the Christmas break. Toews got his first goal since November 11, tapping in his own rebound to give the Jets a 3-0 lead at 2:07 of the second.

The Winnipeg Jets finally stopped the slide on Friday night. A 5-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings ended an 11-game losing skid. It was the team’s longest stretch without a win since returning to Winnipeg in 2011. Relief showed on the bench, but the work is far from done.
