A visitor said several things about the animal made him suspicious. The black paint had melted on the donkey's face and the ears didn't look like the right size for a zebra.
“We found that painting zebra-like stripes on domesticated cows can decrease the incidence of biting flies landing on individuals by 50%,” the researchers reported.
