Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi has been crowned the men’s 2025 CAF Footballer of the Year in Marrakech, beating Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah and Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen to the award. Last year, Hakimi finished as the runner-up in the awards’ rankings behind Atalanta and Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman.
