Emerson Completes Acquisition of Remaining Outstanding Shares of AspenTech
ST. LOUIS, March 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Emerson (NYSE: EMR) today announced that it has completed its acquisition of all outstanding shares of common stock of Aspen Technology, Inc. ("AspenTech") not already owned by Emerson.
After 31 years as a publicly-traded Massachusetts company, Aspen Technology has ceased to exist as an independent firm.
The acquisition of a remaining stake in AspenTech will allow Emerson to penetrate new markets and boost its automation portfolio.
