(Reuters) -England have named an unchanged team on Monday for the second test against India, set to begin on July 2 at Edgbaston, with fast bowler Jofra Archer remaining sidelined. The England and Wales Cricket Board retained the lineup that secured a five-wicket win at Headingley to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.

Archer has not played Test cricket since 2021 and will now push for a place in the side for the third Test against India after missing out at Edgbaston

Team India fast bowlers, including Jasprit Bumrah, were seen using two-coloured balls in the net session ahead of the second Test, to be played at Edgbaston in Birmingham from July 2. India assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate opened up on the team's latest practice method.
