According to Android Authority, this new Google Messages RCS feature works when texting iPhone users with iOS 18.5 and the iOS 26 beta, in both individual chats and group chats. Like editing messages to other Android users, you'll have a 15-minute window to edit the text after it has been sent. After that, you'll no longer be able to edit it.

Google is phasing out voicemails in the iOS Google Fi app.

Google Fi has started routing all voicemails directly to the iPhone’s built-in Phone app instead of the Google Fi app. If you’re getting a “Voicemail Error – Try Again Later” when setting up voicemail, it’s due to this transition and Apple’s Visual Voicemail feature not activating properly with Google Fi.
