Rockstar developer has shared some information about how long the studio has been working on their next title, GTA 6.

Rockstar Games' GTA 6 delay has fueled speculation about interim releases, with rumors suggesting a potential GTA IV remaster. Insider Tez2 indicates that work on the remaster has been ongoing and could launch later in 2025.

When is GTA 6 coming out? Given how many years it takes to create open worlds of the same caliber as GTA 5, it's no surprise that Rockstar Games has already spent years developing GTA 6.

Tez also mentions that "if they (Rockstar) follow their plan laid out from the pandemic days, they'll do a Max Payne 3 port" while hinting that this could arrive around the time of Remedy's upcoming remakes of Max Payne 1 and 2.

Rockstar Games announced the release of "Grand Theft Auto 6," one of the most highly anticipated games of all time, would be delayed until 2026.

In addition to a GTA 4 port/remaster for modern platforms, in his post, Tez2 also claimed that Rockstar could still be planning to do a Max Payne 3 port, which could arrive as part of a bundle or a “Definitive Edition”, alongside remakes for both Max Payne 1 and 2.
