Jasprit Bumrah was named the ICC Men's Test Cricketer of the Year for 2024 after the India pace spearhead produced his best annual haul in the red-ball format, the sport's governing body said on Monday.

Producing his best-ever annual haul in the red-ball format, Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has been crowned as the ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year for 2024.

India’s leading wicket-taker of 2024 has been named the ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year at the ICC Awards.

Jasprit Bumrah won the ICC men’s test cricketer of the year award after the Indian fast bowler finished 2024 with a rich haul of 71 wickets in 13 test matches.

NEW DELHI (ANI)- Indian pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah has been honoured as the ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year for 2024, following his finest-ever performance in the red-ball format, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Bumrah played a total of 13 Tests and eight ODIs last year. He secured 71 and 15 wickets, respectively. As a result, Bumrah became only the fifth Indian cricketer to win the aforementioned accolade.

Indian pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah capped a memorable year by clinching the prestigious Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year, while New Zealand all-rounder Amelia Kerr made history as the first New Zealander to win the Heyhoe Flint Trophy for ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year.
