We've got some accumulating snow to kick things off. That will be followed by the coldest airmass of the winter season thus far. Finally, in the longer range, it appears that an active/stormy pattern is going to unfold over the next few weeks across the eastern United States.

While late on Sunday could see snowfall during a winter storm, forecasters said an arctic blast could bring the coldest point of the 2025 winter season.

A NWS forecaster said Massachusetts will see at most two inches of snowfall from the storm this weekend. Most parts of the state, including Worcester, Boston and the South Shore, are expected to get less than an inch of snow.
