Live Nation Entertainment announced it’s planning to spend $1 billion to open or break ground on 18 new music venues in the U.S.

Live Nation has announced a $1 billion investment plan to “build 18 new and revitalized live music venues” across the U.S., ranging from smaller clubs to outdoor amphitheaters. Among these venues includes one in Portland, Maine. Live Nation expects to either open or break ground on all venues within the next 18 months.
