From merciless blowhard to damaged but well-meaning himbo, John Cena’s Christopher Smith, aka Peacemaker, took a heck of a journey in the first season of his HBO Max show. First introduced in James Gunn’s 2021 movie “The Suicide Squad,” Peacemaker spun off into his own series, also helmed by Gunn, in January 2022.
Battered and bloodied after just barely saving the world from an alien invasion, anti-hero Peacemaker (John Cena) and his surviving teammates are headed away from the battlefield to get medical treatment when the Justice League finally arrive, too late to help.
Soon after Season 2 of Peacemaker premiered, DC Studios released the new opening dance for you to watch on repeat.
Serving as a precursor for the events of Peacemaker Season 2, Superman supporting characters Green Lantern/Guy Gardner (Nathan Fillion), Hawkgirl/Kendra Saunders (Isabela Merced) and Maxwell Lord (Sean Gunn) appeared in a teaser for upcoming episodes.

We’ve already seen the first five episodes, and wrote in our Peacemaker Season 2 review that it “tells a touching tale which lacks the potentially world-ending stakes of its predecessor, but makes up for that with an emotionally charged story that acts as the DCU’s answer to Sliding Doors.”
Peacemaker Season 2’s first episode just dropped, and the filming locations offer a gritty and grounded look for the show. Most of the scenes in the first episode are indoors. But the show is going to open up its landscape a lot more in the coming episodes,
