The electric Pokemon's DJ set is happening now until the Pokemon Presents begins at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET, and he's spinning Pokemon-themed music while a timer counts down to the exact start of the show. The set started slowly, with a lone Pikachu falling asleep in front of the DJ booth, but the star has since taken the stage.
Now, TPC has revealed what the tease was seemingly pointing towards: a pre-show music stream. An hour before July 22’s Pokémon Presents, it will stream a pre-event show called “Everyone Gather! DJ Pikachu Live”. Pokémon Presents will return on Tuesday, July 22. The event will be broadcast on the Pokémon YouTube channel.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps stars Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as the Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing - complete with his catchphrase: "It's clobberin' time!"
Listen, I know that Lego is making a Pikachu set next year. I'm very excited about it. If other gaming kits are anything to go by, it'll be brilliant and (unfortunately) super effective on our bank balances. But it's already got competition, because this Mega model is... well, it's impressive.
Pokémon Channel might be making a comeback if a recent tease on X is anything to go by, but we need to wait until Pokémon Presents to be sure.
