The Texas Longhorns are the new NCAA softball champions. Texas jumped all over Texas Tech in a decisive 10-4 victory in Game 3 of the Women's College World Series on Friday night to earn the first title in program history.

Texas has won the college softball national title. After finishing as the national runners-up two times in the previous three years, the Longhorns have their first title with a 10-4 win over Texas Tech at the Women's College World Series.

The Texas Longhorns face off with the Texas Tech Red Raiders one last time to determine the champion at the Women's College World Series on Friday, June 6.
