Atlanta Falcons fans ripped into former No. 4 overall pick Kyle Pitts after he dropped a pass that led to an interception and failed to show much effort to tackle the Giants defender.

Kyle Pitts continues to flash potential but also disappoint at the same time. Pitts’ Atlanta Falcons beat the New York Giants 34-7 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga., on Sunday in Week 16.

A few years ago, there weren't many players who were as highly regarded or more anticipated than Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts. After an incredible college career with the Florida Gators, Pitts was drafted with No. 4 overall pick in 2021. Since then, his career has gone downhill quickly.

“I just work here,” Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts said in response to Atlanta’s latest quarterback change. The immensely talented former top-five pick has been through his share of signal-callers since being drafted in 2021.

For a third consecutive season, Kyle Pitts has vastly underperformed expectations. Following a historic rookie campaign in which Pitts set multiple franchise records on the way to the Pro Bowl, injuries and poor quarterback play really hamstrung the 2021 4th overall pick.

Kyle Pitts didn’t have a lot to say about the Atlanta Falcons benching Kirk Cousins. But what he did say, said a lot about the current state of the Falcons.
